TotalEnergies makes the support of the population around the development of a green electricity production project, its priority. Allowing eligible citizens to benefit from additional income through an eco-responsible investment promotes this support. Therefore, TotalEnergies makes available eligible projects for crowdfunding, through digital platforms.

Crowdfunding or sometimes crowdlending is a mechanism allowing local citizens or companies to invest in a green electricity project developed by TotalEnergies.
There are two possible mechanisms, one is a loan, the other is equity. Crowfunding allows people to diversify their investment portfolio over a set period.

This type of operation is governed by strict rules defined by the State according to specifications that developers must follow. Opening up the crowdfunding mechanism allows them to get a bonus on the purchase price of electricity.

These collections are managed by platforms labeled “Green Growth” and approved by the AMF and Banque de France (Lendopolis, Enerfip, Lendosphere). Funding is open to residents of the Department in which the project is located as well as to neighboring Departments.
